Samsung S21 Plus: Cheaper Price, Hidden Compromises—Is It Still Worth It?
I’m going to share my initial impressions of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus 5G. This phone is currently on sale at the time of this video; if you’d like to check it out for yourself, links are provided in the description. It is priced at $1,000—which, yes, is expensive—but I feel it is significantly more affordable than the previous generation Galaxy S20, which cost $1,200. So, I was very pleased to see the price come down. Due to this lower price point, we have had to make a few compromises, which we will discuss later on.
Samsung S21 Plus Unboxing: No Charger…But This Design Will Blow You Away!
Let’s dive straight into the Galaxy S21 Plus. We have it here in the Phantom Black color. So, right on top sits our device, and we won’t find much else inside the box, as this year we don’t get a charger, and headphones are no longer included either. However, right up here, we do get a SIM ejection tool, and inside this compartment, we find a USB Type-C to Type-C charging cable, along with some documentation that we’ll set aside. Wow! I really love this color and this design. It looks very clean.
Samsung S21 Plus: Simple Camera, Big Results—The Cleanest Flagship Yet?
It bears a strong resemblance to the Galaxy S21 Ultra; the main difference is simply that it lacks that rather peculiar-looking camera module. Therefore, if you are looking for a phone with a robust and reliable camera—without any unnecessary bells and whistles—I think the S21 Plus would be an excellent choice, especially given its very clean aesthetic. It features a standard triple-lens setup accompanied by a flash—and yes, the camera bump is still present.

But it’s actually not that bad and it molds into the phone nicely but taking a quick tour here we have our power button and our volume rocker on the right and the position of that power button is pretty good you can see on the left we don’t have anything on the top we have two mics other than the camera square and that molds into the phone as you can see and on the right it rotates into the phone itself which.
