We got the New York Yankees headed into T-Mobile Park to play the Seattle Mariners. So, the Yankees, let’s [clears throat] see, they they’re coming off a day of rest. They didn’t play on Sunday. They just got done sweeping the San Francisco Giants. Um, absolutely dominated that series. You know, the Giants only put up one run in that three-game series. Just absolutely pitiful hitting from the San Francisco Giants. Um, so the Yankees will be on some rest whereas the Mariners play on Sunday night baseball. Um, they played the late game on Sunday. I typically like to fade teams who’s teams who are coming off that Sunday night baseball game. Um, and the fact that the Yankees didn’t play on Sunday as well makes it makes me like it even more.
While I’m recording this, believe it or not, the Yankees are actually slight dogs, and I’m guessing it’s because of the pitching matchup. Luis Castillo is set to take the start for the Mariners. Coming off a decent season last year, 355 RA. We all know Luis Castillo much better at T-Mobile Park than on the road. Um, so these are the spots where he’s played great. And then Ryan Weathers is making his Yankee debut coming off a season, uh, where he finished with a 402 RA. uh one of the weaker guys in this Yankee rotation. No doubt about it. But the fact that I could get a a rested Yankees team who’s coming off a sweep, who’s looked great to start the season at a plus money price, that’s where I have to be at, guys. I got to be on the Yankees here.
It’s just a a play on the spot. Yeah, I love me some Luis Castillo, but this is a nine inning game, guys. And uh you know, the Yankees bullpen will be fresh for this one. I’m recording this video Sunday afternoon, so I don’t know what Seattle’s bullpin’s going to look like coming into um Monday, but it’s not going to look like the Yankees who are coming off a full day off. So, yeah, it it would have to be the Yankees for uh here for me, guys. Appreciate you watching this.
